Linda & Melissa Cowin are a mother/daughter hairstyling team whose skill is a blend of contemporary freedom and style combined with 'old school' precision and design. Together, with many hours of continuing education under their belts, they strive to stay on top of 'what's new' for today.  Their love for humor and a good laugh put their guests at ease, treating each as a special visitor in their home.

 Linda learned hair design at Bellevue Beauty School with the advent of the blow dryer and Sassoon, taking in education from the top stylists and design teams of the day building upon precision and attention to detail.  During the years of childrearing, she entreprenuered Touch of Excellence as a Personal Service Operator, travelling to her homebound client's homes and to hospitals to tend to their hair and nail care needs. She later attended Greenwood Academy of Hair and earned her  Instructor's License in Cosmetology, Esthetics and Manicuring.  After a few years of institutional teaching, she decided to go back into the clinical setting and work again behind the chair and in the treatment room as an Esthetician.  In October 2007, she took the National 1200-hour NIC Advanced Esthetics Exam and is now a NCEA CERTIFIED SKIN CARE PROFESSIONAL (for more information, look at the Networking tab under Specials and follow the link to the NCEA website).  Loving to learn and discovering her passion to teach, she incorporates her style and creativity into everything she does.

 Melissa (Missy) trained at Greenwood Academy of Hair, learning the freedom of the styles of the new millenium.  An excellent haircolor technician, she specializes in multicolor foiling.  As a Licensed Cosmetologist, Esthetician and Manicurist, she enjoys doing long hair, makeup application and manicuring. Certified in continuing education and being a creative artist, skillful stylist and sensitive to your needs, Melissa is in high demand by those experiencing her work.
