"Over the past 15 years, I have seen the advent of new technology and ingredient therapies for skin care, as we all have.  And in this time, I've continued to learn and have worked hard to integrate this new understanding to my practice. My goal is to always aim to improve my treatments and techniques without compromising the integrity of the skin while at the same time caring for the whole person on a new level.

"I've loved studying and working with skin since I was a kid.  I had the usual acne which plagues many of us, and over the years I tried many things, most of them not very effective.  I went to a dermatologist for the acne, and he extracted the comedones (blackheads) and put me on medication.  My face looked beautiful after the healing time was complete, and I wasn't plagued with random breakouts for months!  I eventually went off the antibiotics, but kept up with the cleansing routine and extractions.  Professional skin care was not what it is today, in fact, it was almost non-existent.  After those doctor visits, I learned how to extract the impurities from my own skin...         and then from others' who'd let me!  

One day just recently, I was having my quiet time and I asked, "Why do I LOVE working on the skin so much?  Why do I get so turned on by extracting gnarly blackheads, and pulling out unwanted hairs?"  I got my answer with a memory of Aesop's Fable, The Lion and The Mouse.  I remember reading that story for the first time when I was about 8 years old, and I remember crying my little eyes out after learning that that tiny little mouse, who should've spared its own life by running  away, took compassion on the lion with the infected paw and removed the thorn from it; a deed the lion was unable to do for himself as the pain was too great.

Tired of those persistent blackheads and irregular skin texture? This treatment is for deep cleaning, exfoliation, and for gentle pressing of impurities from the hair follicles.  Steam towels, hydration, and desincrustation softens the skin and the oil deposits.  Customized finishing treatment reduces inflammation and kills bacteria, and afterwards, breakout incidents will be reduced.  Recently introduced, the NEW Dermalogica mediBac clearing™ System has produced wonderful results in the treatment room after only 3 or 4 professional treatments continued with appropriate Home Maintenance.
