Meet Licensed Massage Therapist - Emily Cowin, LMP
Emily Cowin is daughter #2 of the Mother/Daughter team at your service as our Licensed Massage Practitioner. Training at Ashmead College, she spent additional hours to gain training and certificates in varying modalities for body care, massage techniques and spa therapies at Ashmead and at Alexandar School of Massage. She has worked for several years in tandem with chiropractors in the greater South End, perfecting her skills in clinical and medical massage treatments.
She is in high demand from those who have experienced her exacting and healing touch. Fun-loving and caring, Emily brings a special joy to the Touch of Excellence team and to her guests. She is NOW OFFERING private insurance providership, and she is also able to fufill PIP and L&I claims upon the referral of your physician.
Emily is now an Independent Contractor known by her business, Through My Hands. She is also an Insurance Provider with Aetna, Premera, First Choice, Group Health and is continuing to add to this list other networks in partnership with your doctor for your health care and wellness programs.

Her Booking Policies are as follows:
No-shows and late arrivals are costly to me. If you are 15 minutes late, I will consider your appointment a no-show/no-call. No-shows, no-calls or last minute cancellations may cost a $15 cancellation or rescheduling fee. If you are ill, or have an extenuating circumstance regarding your appointment time, please call and leave a message! I will be happy to work with you, but I’ll need to know what's going on, even if it is after the fact within a day or two.
In addition to massage therapy, Emily is also a licensed Esthetician providing body treatments, facials and hair removal services. She is Certified in the Alexandria method of Professional Body Sugaring and is now providing these services at Touch of Excellence.

Spa Body Treatments
Our body treatments are performed with discretion and you will be wrapped in warmth, although not necessarily with additional high heat, as perspiring may diminish the therapy of certain applications and products. Pre-exfoliation prepares your skin for the treatment and while you relax, a scalp massage will be performed. You may choose to upgrade your treatment with an express facial or paraffin hand or foot wrap for $15.
Hydrating Body Therapy -$85
Essential Oils and Soothing Gel with Aloe makes dry, flaking skin feel soothed and moist. The light carrier oils blended with this treatment seals moisture in and helps to slow down trans-epidermal water loss.
Hungarian Wellness Mud -$85
Fresh-water lake mud from Hungary contains minerals good for the skin and body. Helps with detoxification, encourages healing and relaxation.
Buff ‘n Bronze -$85
Beat the sun and it’s damaging effects by this popular treatment.
